Six recommendations for the prevention of Cyberbullying: a campaign that we are interested in following

Three days ago a campaign called “Six recommendations for the prevention of Cyberbullying”, behind which are Telefonica and Friendly Screens. According to experts, it is still necessary to raise awareness among the youngest (for that, of course, we must make adults aware) of the problems arising from an irresponsible use of the Network.

It is estimated that one in six children suffers from cyberbullying, so we cannot waste any more time: it is time to explain to children that in 'real life' we must also treat others with respect; and to make the victims see that inappropriate behaviors on the Web must be stopped, telling adults so we can intervene and help them. In this You Tube channel you can follow each of the six videos with recommendations that will be edited as part of the campaign. The National Police Corps, the Organization of Ibero-American States, and Tuenti also collaborate, which facilitates the opinion of an expert person who offers his experience and vision in cases of cyberhosting.

Just released the initiative, we can read an interview with José Antonio Luengo (from the Camilo José Cela University), who tells us about what happens when photos are uploaded to social networks without taking into account their own and other people's privacy.

Welcome to the campaign ... it starts with the video that heads this post, and clarifies that when the cyberbullying is done, the aggressor also suffers the consequences.
