Since 2000 and coinciding with the World Breastfeeding Week and each edition of the Feast of Lactation, ALBA Lactancia organizes a Children's Drawings Contest on "Breastfeeding and Breeding". The children attending the party participate enthusiastically in this workshop and at the end of the party prizes are awarded to the winners. The collection of these beautiful drawings made by the small artists gives a charming image of the Breastfeeding seen by children.
This initiative arose with the intention of providing the children attending a playful workshop with which they could have fun and also with the intention of normalizing breastfeeding among children, providing a space for creativity and free expression.
On the new page of ALBA you can find a selection of the best drawings submitted to the contest over the last 10 years.
I thought it was an excellent initiative to get the normalization of breastfeeding and bring it closer to children in a way in which they can participate directly expressing, through art, their feelings and impressions.
