Homemade chocolate and nut brownies. Recipe to make with children

Brownies are creamy chocolate biscuits that we like big and small. Actually doing them is very simple and taking advantage of the last days of the holidays, my niece and I prepare these homemade chocolate and nut brownies to be tested by the Magi.

The recipe was so successful that at home this Christmas that completely eclipsed the classic roscón de Reyes. In case you dare to prepare them, here is the recipe, which you can do with the help of your children.

Ingredients for 6 people

  • 3 eggs, 100 g of butter, 100 g of chocolate, 100 g of cocoa powder, 100 g of sugar, 75 g of pastry flour, 12 California nuts

How to make chocolate and nut brownies

In a bowl, we beat the eggs with the sugar. Meanwhile, in the microwave we melt the chocolate with the butter. Mix the two preparations well using the rods. A minute and a half at 600 W will be enough to make it manageable.

We incorporate the flour and later the cocoa powder, mixing all the ingredients well until obtaining a homogeneous mass. Children will love to try how it was knitting by rooting the rods.

Once the mixture is ready, we pass it to an oven-safe container and distribute it well leaving a minute or two to settle. Preheat the oven to 160º and place the tray in the central area.

With care, we distribute the nuts on a regular basis on the surface of the brownies and once placed, we squeeze them slightly so that they sink a little. Bake for 40 minutes and turn off the oven letting the dough cool before cutting the cake into small pieces.
