That is why the idea of a series of photographs of mothers breastfeeding "natural" has seemed great. "Breastfeeding in Real Life", "Breastfeeding in real life", intends to flee from the elaborate or artificial situations and show the most daily scenes of breastfeeding.
This is a project by photographer and mother Stacie Turner, who began taking photos of mothers breastfeeding their babies five years ago. Then, the photographs were rather of idealized poses, in which the environment was almost "studio", the mothers were always perfect and their babies seemed to cooperate.
Then the photographer set out to take a step towards the real and set aside that artifice. However, there are even today scenes that seem more drawn from a movie than from real life… You can judge yourself on the Facebook page where we find many of these photos, most of them taken in black and white.
