"The extraordinary Journey of Lucius Dumb": the film that shows us Children's Rights as the instrument that sounds best

HUMAN RIGHTS, YOUR BEST INSTRUMENT from EXTRA AUDIOVISUALS on Vimeo.

As we announced yesterday, today is the International Children's Rights Day, and the truth is that in what we have of the day I was not very clear about exactly what to talk about. If it is true that the subject goes a long way (Children's Rights are usually so beaten ...), but what do you tell ?.

Non-Governmental Organizations that work for Children are conducting a magnificent work of dissemination of their actions and requests: UNICEF warns that millions of children fight for their survival, Save the Children Spain asks for a law to protect against violence, Entreculturas recalls that the needs of Children are Human Rights and emphasizes the lack of access to education in many places.

For its part, PLAN becomes today the way to open our eyes to the sad reality of girls who are forced to marry, and the Children's Platform in Spain, seems to be clear that the Rights of the most Small are inalienable. How to get close something you don't know anymore?, and those were when Ita Tawa from 'One of the old Children' came to my aid, who in turn had rescued from Biblioabrazo the song that is part of the Original Soundtrack of “The extraordinary journey of Lucius Dumb” . And where does that Lucius go on a trip? you will ask.

It's about the new Spanish animated film that will be released soon (December 5), and whose script has been articulated around Human Rights and the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, what a beautiful story it will be!

He tells us that the scientists of the Planet have been commissioned to discover an instrument that makes the Earth a place where people can live happily; and the one chosen to develop such an important work turns out to be Lucius Dumb. The protagonist travels with two aliens to different places, and his adventure revolves around nine stories that represent the nine fundamental rights of children.

The good Lucius discovers that the instrument sought is nothing more than 'Human Rights': it sounds good and makes everyone who listens to it happy.

The director of this film is Maite Ruiz de Austri, and the seed was planted years ago as a proposal of Musicians Without Borders. The Extremadura feature film will be released in 60 theaters in our country and has a budget of 1.5 million. A project that has come alive with the collaboration of the authors responsible for falls one of the stories, the producer, and all the staff who have strived for it in a matter of days, We can enjoy this 'apology' of Children's (Human) Rights.

And as I have told you little about the song, tell you that it is composed by Pedro Calero and Mili Vizcaína, and it is called "Human Rights, your best instrument", all artists, musicians, singers and technicians are from Extremadura.

Listen to her and believe in the fantasy of children playing, and that we must protect the little ones. Why you know? they will only be children once in the life.
