Santillana and Unicef launch the "I story" platform to give children a voice

The initiative I count It is a collaboration between Santillana Y UNICEF to offer a public space for children and young people to participate as a showcase to learn what they think about the world in which they live. The challenge is to become a platform that stimulates their creativity and in which they can suggest ideas and options that improve coexistence and life in today's society.

The project starts with the call for stories and drawings contest "How do you imagine a better and more supportive world" and is aimed at children between 6 and 12 who contribute ideas and imagine how society can be in the future.

Santillana and Unicef will also reward the efforts of young writers and artists with the publication of your story or drawing on the blog I count. And with the best stories and drawings a book will be published that will be distributed among the Spanish educational centers. Winners will receive a batch of Children's and Youth Alfaguara books, and different children's collections edited by the newspaper El País, such as My first classics, Disney books and DVDs, dictionaries and children's stories.

In the following video, Mariano Jabonero, explains how kids can participate in the initiative How do you imagine a better and more supportive world in I count.
