Modernito books presents Nicanor's Box an album written by Blanca Lacasa and illustrated by Abel Cuevas

Nicanor is a child and Cassiopeia It is a box full of secrets. It is an ordinary day for Nicanor when he meets Cassiopeia, a box that looks at him, and above all, he speaks to him in words he had never heard: hilarious, marmoreal, bombastic, hirsute, anachronistic, abracadabrante, bandoneon, tick. So Nicanor is attracted to her because she doesn't know what they mean and especially because she wants to learn how they sound. As Nicanor does not know the words inside Cassiopeia and likes its sound, it also begins to invent its own sounds: scruchi, floshinkis, trosquis, moss. And between the two they create a good festival of sounds. This is the beginning of a story written for children.

The text is from Blanca Lacasa that together with the fantastic illustrations of Abel Cuevas invite you to travel with children to discover poems, contemplate pictures, read stories turned into songs and all in a perfectly bound hardcover edition. It has a price of 14.50 euros.
