Next Saturday, the annual TEDx celebration will take place in Valencia, which following the format of the California TED event (but organized independently), will help thinkers and entrepreneurs share their experiences and innovative ideas with attendees.
Among the values promoted by TEDx is the innovation, collective intelligence, and education.
TEDxValencia was born with the objective of becoming one of the reference TEDx events worldwide. An open stage where each and every one of us can contribute through our ideas
But I do not come so much to tell you about the program to be developed on the 22nd from 10 in the Espai Rambleta (the South Boulevard of Valencia), like the TEDx Valencia Family: a space where activities aimed at children from three to 12 years old and their companions. Thus, adults who attend the event with children can also have fun and relax with them. The organizers have foreseen that two elders can take turns in the accompaniment of the children, attending at the same time the TEDx Valencia, and exchanging the badge to access the auditorium.
From 10 in the morning until 3 in the afternoon TEDxValencia Family has a scheduled day full of fun for the little ones to exploit their full potential. Presentation games, in groups, of imagination or crafts such as animals with cards, fridge magnets or bookmarks, will only be the beginning.
There will also be English or flower recognition workshops, organized in collaboration with a specialized school for children. The intervention of a storyteller that makes them travel to other realities with their fantastic stories is also planned.
With the TEDxValencia Family we want, above all, the little ones to have fun with our activities designed and designed just for them. It will be like a small school, while the elders attend conferences

Session 2 of the event is called Planting Seeds (The need to rewrite the way to educate children will be raised), and will begin at 11 in the morning. Your participants? Rosana Gadea (parenting and lactation consultant), Clara Grima (math) and Juan García Álvarez de Tolero (CEO of Adama Web); You can also enjoy the performance of Fan Swing.
Rosana is also co-founder of two associations from where she develops her social activity related to parenting and breastfeeding. Listening to it will be having the opportunity to approaching a questioning of childcare from the social and health field in our country.
