New children's book that encourages children to think: 'Why do things have names?'

Did you know that Plato means 'the one with broad backs?', We have discovered it thanks to 'Why things have name?', a children's book that belongs to the Los Pequeños Platones collection, and is edited by Errata Naturae Editores.

It is a beautiful book for children from four years that has a hardcover, crisp colors, and is full of die cuts and pop-ups that help keep the attention of the little ones in the house. The common thread is a question: why do things have a name ?, and it focuses on a beautiful animal known to all: the horse. A book to think about and for kids to question some of the things we take for granted.

Plato (the protagonist, next to the horse) answers some of the questions of the smallest philosophers of the house. Although rather, it encourages them to ask their own questions

The author is Jean Paul Mongin, who has been Professor of Philosophy, although he prefers to write stories, He is editor of the 'Les Petits Platons' collection in France, and author of several of his deliveries. The illustrations are wide and very pleasant, they have been the work of Junko Shibuya, he was born in Hyogo (Japan), although he lives in France, is an illustrator of numerous children's books, and also teaches drawing and design workshops in Paris.

Why things have name? it is a volume with many surprises and with a cumulative history component that results very attractive for the little ones.

We are delighted with this book sent to us from the publisher. I think any young child would like to ask about the 'name of things', and ask 'where does he live'.

You will love it.
