It seems that Hi - Tec has a solution that would save money: they have developed an innovative technology that allows the footwear to adapt to the growth of the child's foot up to 2-3 sizes. Hi-Tec's 'Big Fit System' allows the shoe to last longer, since from its adjustment system, the footwear grows with the child's foot. The technology is based on 2 templates, a molded green that provides comfort and cushioning and a black one that acts as a volume regulator. When the footwear is new, the two insoles are left inside. When the child's foot grows, the regulator can be removed to increase the size of the footwear and thus take more time.
The proposals that currently incorporate this new technology are TT elastic lace (which also has a tread stabilizer) and Treviso EZ JR (with ergonomic shape)
From what I have read the characteristics of the shoes with the Big Fit system are very well thought out and are safe, although I imagine that when you start using them the external appearance will be larger compared to the child's foot.
The correct choice of footwear is very important, so in the case of these new shoes that have gone on the market, we should make sure that they will be well subject initially: A small foot in a shoe that will serve two or three sizes? Is the support suitable?
