Highlights in Babies and more: from January 7 to 13

Today as every week we offer you a summary of highlights of the last week in Babies and more.

During these days we have talked long and hard about an issue that we have considered important, the hypersexualization of childhood or when children grow early. For this we have interviewed four experts in the field who have told us that there is currently a pattern of hypersexualization in girls, that we should let girls and boys enjoy their childhood, that the pattern of hypersexualization of girls is very polarized and that girls are assuming their condition of sexual objects with perverse naturalness.

I also wanted to explain to you, in one of my confessional starts, that when my first child was born, even though everything seems very exciting in the movies, there was no heavenly music nor a clearing opened in the clouds.

Speaking a little about the health of children and a syndrome that is being diagnosed in excess, ADHD, we have commented that the overdiagnosis of ADHD can put the health of children at risk.

In reference to the stimuli our children receive, we wanted to talk about the TV that educates, focusing on the well-known series Peppa Pig, and also about the TV that does not educate, talking about Violetta.

Finally, we wanted to answer the five most frequently asked questions about childbirth at home and in the Happy Learning Space you have been able to read about children who learn in the bathtub, being like a fish in the water. Also, in the "Between Moms" space of My World Phillips you can read what to expect when you are in a state of good hope.

We hope that this week the contents of Babies and more find them interesting, enjoyable and practical. We will work to make it happen.
