Christmas crafts to do with children: handmade snowflakes

I bring you one Christmas craft very simple with which we can decorate our tree, decorate the door of the house, and even give the best friends of our children.

They are beautiful snowflakes that I have found in 'The ramblings of a crazy woman', and that will help us spend more than an afternoon entertaining with our children, they can also help us to occupy some of the children's holiday days.

Necessary materials:

  • Four flat sticks (like ice cream) for each snowflake, white tail, white pom poms or cotton balls, glitter, necklaces and buttons (white or ivory).

How to make the flakes:

First intersect forming an eight-pointed star, and using white glue to join them in the center (it costs a little to dry, but I prefer this type of glue to use hot silicone, not going to burn children).

Then we choose how to decorate each snowflake using the imagination, and all the materials we find at home and serve our purpose: We can adhere the small elements by white glue, and once they are dry we will dispense small glue points and then spray over the silver glitter flake so that the effect remains white.

It is clear that we can use elements of other colors, the more different the snowflakes are from each other, the more fun the effect will be.
