Children and families from 17 American cities learn healthy and active lifestyles with 'Move it, movement tour'

'Move it, movement tour' It was opened in Atlanta (Georgia) on June 10 and will end in Houston (Texas) on August 12. This is a movement driven for the third consecutive year that has Cartoon Network as the driver.

In each of the destinations, the tour develops activities such as paintings, outdoor games and sports practices. A stand is also installed to disseminate the importance of Eat healthy foods and stay active to be healthy. Cartoon Network collaborates through this initiative with the First Lady of the United States (Michelle Obama), in her efforts to end childhood obesity in her country. You want to show the participants that maintaining good health is fun.

Here are some examples of activities developed within this tour: 'soccer shootout challenge' allows children to test their shooting skills with a soccer goal, 'outdoor crayon challenge' with the possibility of drawing on the ground with chalk or Experiment with 3D chalk, 'NFL Play 60' where the little ones will face an NFL Play 60 obstacle course.

I welcome this initiative and I wish that in Spain (where childhood obesity rates begin to be worrying) similar initiatives will be developed that combine the attractiveness of physical exercise with the dissemination of messages about healthy eating.
