Fil'Up: we tested the mesh scarf for the summer

It's summer, it's hot and we have the "luck" of having an anti-baby baby who just wants to stick to the body of his parents, mostly next to his mother's skin. This means that after two weeks we decided to retire the stroller and that from that moment we always carry it hanging (don't tell us that we don't try, although you can tell us that we don't insist much).

The fact is that as the heat has been coming, sweat has been rising and Miriam and Guim always came home with sugary, sweaty and annoying things, so a few days ago we bought a scarf that has not been in Spain for a long time. is Fil'Up and that has the peculiarity of being a mesh.

Two scarf sizes

There are two sizes of scarf, one of them is for people who usually wear clothes size S or M, which measures 4.20 meters and the other is for people who use sizes L and XL and measures 4.60 m. What varies is the length of the scarf, but not the width, which is always the same.

We have the short one, because both Miriam and I are small and with the long one we would have left over on both sides after making the knot.

100% cotton

The fabric is 100% cotton and is designed so that the central part, where the baby goes, is the widest of the scarf (70-80 cm), becoming narrower as it reaches the ends, so that it is more comfortable to knot it and so that the Knots are not too big.

It is very elastic, but it is long and not wide. If so, the baby would give way down, it would go little fixed to the body of mom or dad and would be more annoying than anything else.

Cool, very cool

Just look at Miriam's picture with Guim to see that mom and baby are very cool, so now we go down the street with him with the peace of mind of knowing that no one is going to cook (although the contact inevitably brings heat) and with the comfort of knowing that nobody is going to tell you that of “and with the heat that it does, don't you think it will be very hot? ”, a phrase that they told us daily with the usual cloth scarves.

The price depends on where you buy it. We bought it at Crianza Natural, where the small one costs 75 euros and the big one 80. There are 6 colors to choose from: yellow, orange, blue, pink, salmon and green.

It is best to see people's faces when you walk with the baby there. I thought that this of the scarves was already the daily bread in the world, but I see that a lot of people are still surprised and commenting on it.

By the way, I have not talked about it because I consider it a topic already known to readers and readers, but carrying babies on top is a practice more than recommended: Babies are happy with us, their hips are formed in a perfect position (avoiding dysplasia or treating them), parents enjoy contact and fill them with kisses, they stress less and consequently suffer less cramping. But I insist no more because, as I say, all this you already knew.
