The expansion of the children's area in Madrid's Warner Park opens to the public

As Armando had already told us when he told us about his day at the Warner Park in Madrid, work was being done on new attractions for children.

Well, as of June 10 The expansion of the children's area in Madrid's Warner Park opens to the public on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the theme park.

The extension of Cartoon Village (this is what the park's children's area is called) will have an extension of land to enjoy the novelties that the park offers us: four new attractions, a new point of restoration of Italian cuisine and new Parkland.

Cartoon Village is the largest children's and family area in Spain, as well as one of the most important in Europe, both in extension and in attractions available for the smallest of the house.

It has 19 attractions, three character houses, five restaurants, two specialty stores and a great theater, as well as encounters with characters at different times of the day in the streets of Cartoon Village.

The four new themed attractions that we can find in the park are:

  • "I've seen a cute kitty": We are in Granny's garden, when Silvestre desperately tries to catch Piolin and for this he will need our help. When we ride on his invention we can turn freely, either sideways or up and down, while Tweety escapes more and more. This attraction has been awarded as the best family attraction in the IAAPA (Association of theme parks and attractions).
  • "Full speed!": With this attraction we will embark on an adventure next to the Gallo Claudio, Quique El Gavilán and his boat that turns without control adrift through the turbulent waters of the sea, swinging from one side to the other without any control. The tail area of the attraction simulates the entrance to a lively fishing pier.
  • "Pato Lucas emergencies": In this new family adventure we will board a fire truck that Duck Lucas uses to extinguish the uncontrolled fire that has been declared in one of the park's buildings. The truck is equipped with seats in the driver's cabin, as well as a rescue bucket in which two brave firefighters will point their water cannons to extinguish the flames as they turn, rise and fall without stopping around the building.
  • "The Flintstones Driving School": This is the most prominent attraction of this new area, being a new driving concept. The driving school consists of a circuit, full of curves, signals, crosswalks, roundabouts and slopes that will serve to test the ability of the little ones behind the wheel of their trunk.

Now that the good weather begins and our children enjoy more free time thanks to their summer vacations, spending a day at the theme park is not a bad idea now that they celebrate their tenth anniversary and Warner Park playground has been extended.

In addition, it is an ideal occasion for those of us who are not so children to meet again and embrace our childhood idols such as Duck Lucas or Road Runner. Ok, I admit, they are my favorites. And yours?
