Breastfeeding Fairies, breastfeeding support initiative

Fairy Project It is a beautiful project of the Association for Breeding Izan Leike that we are pleased to echo in the blog. Is an initiative to support breastfeeding through a simple gesture how to carry one of these beautiful breastfeeding fairies in clothes, in the carrier or wherever you want.

They are handmade polymer clay dolls. They are worn as a brooch or pin and can be the perfect excuse to start a conversation about breastfeeding and its benefits with anyone interested in it. A badge that proves that you are a fan of breastfeeding and at the same time an ingenious way to spread it.

No two fairies alike. Each one is made with a special care and with all the luxury of details such as earrings, necklaces, scarves, and of course, each with her baby sucking.

The idea arises from the Indian legend of the thread on the shoulder, a purple thread on the sari of an old man who has served to motivate a revealing talk between a young woman and the old man. Moved to fairies, a good excuse to talk about breastfeeding.

Who decides to join the Thread Club on his shoulder - Project Fairy receives a fairy who will not know how it is until he arrives home and must give him a name with which he then makes a list of fairies and protectors.

The price of each doll is 9.07 euros and can be purchased at the Izan Leike Association store.
