Years ago it was more frequent than today dressing brothers of different ages in the same way (and let's not talk about twins anymore), or so it seems to me. Especially on special occasions, holidays, but also for day to day.
In this way, we have two or more versions of the same model in different sizes, something that I personally find funny but for now I have not "applied" with my daughters. Of course, we talk about something "funny" when clothes go according to my tastes, because seeing two boys or girls dressed in "buds" because I do not like, as if it were one.
But as I say my daughters have not been dressed the same, first, because my husband is not as funny as me, perhaps because he did "suffer" to go dressed like his brother. Later, because it is not frequent to find the same models for small babies and a two-year-old girl.
Later, when the baby stops being a baby and goes to the fashion section of "older" it will be easier to find the same clothes.
What does happen is that they tend to be very similar, it is logical, We are the daddies who decide at the moment what clothes are in the closet... Although Mar, with two and a half years, already begins to choose from her closet bottom.
At the most, the closest things my daughters have been to have been when I found two dresses of the same cut and style but of different color, and that yes they have worn it at the same time (I was drooling, of course) .
From a practical point of view, advantages to go dressed the same could be not having to choose two or more times clothes for each. Although on the other hand, clothing if there is not much difference in age ends up getting confused or we have to go looking at the labels to know which one is whose ...
If a little brother arrives later and we decide to follow the tradition, the monotony in family photos is assured.
Anyway, I think that the parents who decide to wear their children dressed the same do not do it daily (unless they go uniform in school), but for certain special occasions. Surely on Christmas or communion dates the sales of small models to peers increase.
Although the logical thing would be that as they grow they determine their tastes and almost certainly the tastes of the brothers will not coincide completely.
We would have to ask them, our children, what do they think about being dressed in the same way, but as those who read us are the daddies I ask you, Do you like the idea of dressing the little brothers the same or do you prefer that everyone wear different clothes?
