Homemade costume for babies: Pan flute

One of the premises to disguise the baby is that it does not imply discomfort. Today we bring you an idea to disguise your babies with a simple complement that we elaborate at home and that will be quite comfortable for you. Is about make a homemade Pan flute costume for babies.

To do this we will simply make a Pan flute that we will attach to the baby's clothes, and it will not bother them, whether they are lying in the carrycot (the smallest ones) or if they are a little incorporated or we take them in their arms ... We can easily remove.

  • To make our flute we have to collect several tubes of rolls of kitchen paper or aluminum foil, transparent film ... We will suffice with four or five. We leave the first tube to its original size, and the rest we cut each one a little more than the previous one, so that we have the shape of the Pan flute.

  • We can line the colored paper tubes (cream or brown, to imitate the color of the reed with which these flutes are made) or paint them well in advance and paint for children.

  • The next step is join the tubes so that they take the form of a flute, we can do it with double-sided adhesive heat so that the tubes have some flexibility when it comes to attaching to the baby's clothes. If we do it with glue, the tubes will become more rigid.

  • Finally, a cloth tape with ornaments or, failing that, a cardboard that we will cut so that it takes the same shape, will wrap the Pan flute from the top through it from end to end. More simple but less successful would be to draw the horizontal ornament strip on the tubes ourselves.

  • We only have to place the baby's bread flute, and we will do it by dressing it with a comfortable and baggy clothes to which we can sew two or three narrow velcro straps. In the flute tubes we will stick adhesive velcro. We have to look at when placing the strips on the clothes, we will do it at the correct distance to match the tubes to which we have attached the velcro.

One last trick. We can not always easily have so many long kitchen rolls to take advantage of the inner cardboard. It may be difficult for us to collect them, but we can use toilet paper cartons for shorter tubes of the flute, provided they are of a similar thickness.

Now we only have to join the two parts of the velcro when the little one is already dressed and we have our Pan flute costume for baby. We'll see what melodies delight us ...
