Family vacations in Aruba (Caribbean)

Some time ago we saw a curious advertising strategy to attract customers to an Aruba hotel in the Caribbean: if a baby was conceived during the stay in the hotel, customers received a gift. And, although certainly the destination is typical of honeymoon trips, honeymoons and romantic getaways, the Caribbean can also be enjoyed as a family.

If you want to travel with children to Aruba, from the official tourism website we have interesting proposals for the whole family. Apart from sun and beach, and the proposals of activities and games for children that most hotels offer, we have the Miniature Village that shows reduced versions of the typical houses and buildings of Aruba. Or the largest water park in Aruba (located in front of The Aruban Resort Hotel), Morgan's Island, which promises a lot of fun for young and old.

The Kibaima Park (next to the Miniature Town) has birds, exotic animals and tropical plants, to discover the fauna and flora of the place. It also has a children's playground, and for the more active you can go kayaking, horse riding or learn to fish.

The fascination for animals that all children usually have can be satisfied visiting one of the island's farms, such as the ostrich farm (Aruba Ostrich Farm), the Donkey Sanctuary, to contemplate and approach these animals (Donkey Sanctuary Aruba) the bird sanctuary and the butterfly farm (Butterfly Farm), a unique experience to stroll through a tropical garden among butterflies from around the world.

On the private island of Palm there is a mini water park, although to access it you have to contact the company responsible for making those specific towers (De Palm Tours).

In addition, there are discounts and offers for children, from free bed and breakfast to 12 years old, to free activities and gifts for the family that will depend on each hotel. On the Aruba tourism website we find the list of participating hotels in these offers You know, if you want to visit the Caribbean, In Aruba there is no excuse not to take the kids!
