Nursing rooms in Madrid

Following the consultation of a friend who does not like to breastfeed in public, I have been anxious to find out which commercial spaces in Madrid have a nursing room.

Let's clarify that breastfeeding rooms are an option, not an obligation. That is, nobody can force you to use the nursing room if you prefer to breastfeed anywhere else. I did not care to breastfeed in a bank, but there are mothers who prefer to do it privately and must have the option of doing so.

I have managed to make a list of public places, mostly shopping centers, which have a nursing room or area to feed the baby. Some put a couple of chairs in a room and call it a nursing room, while in others we find comfortable chairs, microwaves and even free diapers and wipes. In some the passage to men is prohibited. Anyway, there is everything. Not everyone understands in the same way the concept of breastfeeding.

The list I have made appears below. Of course, suggestions, comments and additions are accepted, since those who know the facilities best are you, mothers with babies. I have started in Madrid, but I intend to do it with more cities.

● Ikea (Alcorcón and San Sebastián de los Reyes) ● Tres Aguas Shopping Center (Alcorcón) ● Sixth Avenue Shopping Mall (Pozuelo de Alarcón) ● Plaza Norte 2 Shopping Center (San Sebastián de los Reyes) ● M-40 Avenue Shopping Mall ● Xanadú Mall ● Plenilunio Mall ● La Vaguada Mall ● Moraleja Green Mall ● Parquesur Mall ● Las Rozas Village Mall ● Equinoccio Mall (Majadahonda) ● Islazul Mall (Carabanchel Alto) ● Mothercare Stores ● Leroy Merlin (Rivas )
