Quiet because it's just a rhetorical question. I already assume that in a society where public breastfeeding of human babies is poorly seen and sometimes impeded, where the duration of breastfeeding is quite short for WHO recommendations and the needs of the species, and where many women voluntarily do not breastfeed not a single day, the option of breastfeeding an animal should seem primitive, insolent and absurd.
But I loved seeing, in a complete blog of breastfeeding and baby sleep, the generosity and open mindedness of women who have done it, although I recognize that it is shocking to see it.
And it is not only typical of human mothers, on the web there are many photos of animals breastfeeding offspring of another species. Below you can see another woman with a monkey and a dog breastfeeding tigers but there are also cats with puppies, tigress with pigs, etc.
And the best thing about the web is a wide collection of photos of mammals honoring their name: breastfeeding.
Although I find admirable and supportive women, I would not do it. I would give these baby animals a good bottle.
