The Madrid Book Fair, also for children

The Madrid Book Fair, on its 75th anniversary, will bring together writers, editors, booksellers and readers of all ages every year who will be able to tour the 364 booths and enjoy the scheduled activities. Children who begin to discover the magic of books also have their place in this meeting.

At Children's and youth Madrid Book Fair pavilion there will be story reading, book illustration workshops and also the Caja Madrid pavilion It is dedicated to the "Books for the little ones", with poems, songs and many stories. But not everything is literature, because for them to continue entertaining there is also makeup or origami workshops.

A surprise awaits this weekend for all the little ones who want to meet their favorite characters first hand and get a signature: On Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 Caillou, the endearing child character, will sign his books to anyone who wants it. There will also be the Clown of Tele Miliki, and Lucrecia with his album recorded with Los Lunnis "All the colors of the world".

You can also enjoy with children's theatrical performances such as "The emperor's new suit" (Saturday 14).

In addition, children up to 9 years old can enjoy the Story Museum, where there are two rooms: one blue, the one with Cinderella and another, the "gastronomic", where a story tasting takes place. And parents have the orientation workshop for reading animation "Reading with a baby and not so baby: words of the day and some of the night."
