Today is a long awaited day for many children, because as we announced, today the doors of the 45 Barcelona Children's Festival, ideal setting for children on Christmas holidays, where they find games and recreational and educational activities.
One of them is the road education, for which the Catalan Traffic Service (SCT), the Mossos d'Esquadra and the Generalitat Firefighters work. All activities focused on road education are aimed at children of all ages up to 12 years, with areas differentiated by age, under three years and over three years up to 12 years.
The SCT will be concerned with education about pedestrian traffic rules, encouraging responsible behavior habits. The games make the children think about the risks, the use of the helmet and the safety belt, etc. The Mossos d'Esquadra will show their police vehicles, this little ones love. They will also learn to identify fingerprints and can become a children's police card among other activities.
For their part, firefighters will teach children how to behave in case of an emergency situation, such as a fire, a gas leak, etc. They will disguise themselves as firefighters, get on the truck, learn about the hoses and other work tools of the firefighters and even perform an exercise circuit adapted to their age like the ones firefighters do in their training.
This is one of the areas most requested by children, for which there are more than 600 square meters, maybe next year they have to rethink expand it right ?. We hope you learn a lot and have fun.
