There are many families who turn to grandparents to take care of children, the love they provide, experienced education and lack of time for parents today, have led to the growth of kangaroo grandparents.
Just as they attended and educated us, they are very capable of doing so with our children, provided they agree (although we do not know any grandfather who is not), but an initiative of the Living and Living Foundation of Caixa de Catalunya has organized some workshops aimed at grandparents in order to offer them new educational tools to meet the care of their grandchildren.
Theoretical and practical sessions are held, in which children participate with writing workshops, reading stories and practicing traditional children's games. Topics such as food for children's health, the relationship and communication between generations, how to set limits (this will cost many grandparents more), safety issues, leisure, etc. will also be discussed.
