One more step in the fight against child sexual exploitation

It seems that in some countries they are taking seriously the fight against child sexual exploitation, in this case we refer to Mexico, where they have just passed a reform of the law that allows the Federal Public Prosecutor to dismiss any person who officiates in any religious service, priests, pastors, etc., if they have performed any type of sexual abuse To a minor, this is one of the points of the legal reform that will be carried out against child sexual exploitation.

What is surprising to us is that the religious authorities of Mexico did not agree with the legal reforms, even knowing that it would greatly benefit the minors. On this occasion, politicians have agreed to toughen laws protecting children, without allowing anyone to escape punishment. In addition, we will also fight against child sex tourism, on some occasions we have been able to see in some documentaries how pedophiles travel to countries where the laws are not an inconvenience so that they can run freely.

Avoiding aberrant scenes is everyone's job, you have to keep in mind that all minors are at risk, no matter how small. Actions such as the one Mexico is doing are necessary and some countries that still have legal gaps should take an example.
