Furniture-toys by Javier Mariscal

Javier Mariscal, the designer of Cobi, the Olympic mascot of Barcelona '92, are these creations for children of the Italian design firm Magis.

Nest It's one of the furniture-toys from the series To Too created by the artist. According to him, thought from the point of view of a child, trying to get in his head.

This one in particular is a kind of hiding place that can be transformed into a space capsule so that the kids get in there and start their imagination.

We already said the other day that today's children demand versatile toys capable of being a toy, a hiding place and a piece of furniture at the same time.

The Julian chair, another of his creations, is a simple very light plastic dog-shaped chair that can have thousands of uses both outdoors and indoors.

On the Magis website you can see his four creations from the Me Too collection. And here you can buy some.

Prices are high, like the designer.
