With seven years, this model girl without legs is an example of overcoming

Daisy-May is a seven-year-old British girl whose story of courage and willpower has given us all a great lesson. This little girl was born with a congenital malformation in her legs, but her disability not only has not prevented her from fulfilling her dream of being a model, but she is also on her way to becoming a great gymnast.

His parents decided to open an account on Instagram, and in each photo they publish, Daisy shows us that life deserves to be lived in all its splendor and without ever losing the smile.

A disability that has not stopped you

Daisy-May was born with peroneal hemimelia, a total or partial defect of the long bones associated with other congenital anomalies of the femur, tibia and foot.

In his case, the fibula bone of one of his legs was very short, while the other was completely missing. This totally affected his balance and mobility, so the doctors decided that the best option was to amputate his legs below the knee and place prostheses so he could walk.

But this girl from Birmingham he has not let his disability prevent him from doing everything other children his age do, and not only learned to walk, but also to jump, run, dance or play sports.

Daisy does not hesitate to play football with her three siblings, swing in the park next to them or even teach them to do tricks and side somersaults. A great example of overcoming!

The happiness that the little girl squanders, together with her willpower to overcome day by day, has not left indifferent to the British agency of models and artists Zeebedee Management, who has decided to hire her as a child model.

And if that were not enough, Daisy trains frequently in the gym and nothing and nobody seems to stop it: run on a belt, hang on rings, do weights, box ... Do what you do, this little girl never gives up and every time he falls he rises again with more desire if possible and a huge smile on his lips.

The unconditional support of their parents

Eager to show the world what your daughter is capable of, and with the spirit of inspire others In the same situation, his parents decided to open an Instagram account to document his day to day.

Daisy has the unconditional support of her parents, who believe in her, encourage her to never give up and fight against adversity.

In this image, where the little girl appears next to her father, you can read a really moving message that invites us to reflect on the importance of supporting our children always, strengthening their self-esteem, respecting their individuality and encouraging them to be what they wish to be:

This is no job to us! We are just living our life to the fullest and lucky enough to be in a position to inspire other people. As a man it's hard to open up emotionally and I put all the bad times away in a box in my head but doing this modeling with my daughter has taught me it's ok to open up emotionally and talk about the times I was crying watching her in pain and the daily struggles we went through. My message to her is to never be afraid to be who you are which I try to lead by example. Not everyone will like you or love you but the biggest message we can give together is to be who you want to be and never change for anyone. Money doesn't motivate us inspiring other people who have had similar experiences or just a crap day now that's what we are about because nothing can hold you back in life but yourself #inspireothers #inspiration #inspirepeople #kidsofinstagram #amputeemodel #amputeesofinstagram #amputee #doubleamputee #beyourself #dreambig #havefun #disabled #disabledmodel #disabilityawareness #differentisbeautiful #bopowarrior #bopo #believe #anythingispossible

Little great heroes

It is not the first case of overcoming and fighting that we echo in Babies and More. And there are many small great heroes that surprise us every day with their exploits and their ability to overcome!

Just a few months ago we talked about Guillermo, a 14-year-old boy with Down Syndrome that swept the Spanish Swimming Championship.

We were also surprised by the case of this baby, who despite being born without arms He has learned to use his feet as an aid to overcome his disability; or from this 18-year-old boy who manufactured a prosthesis for his arm with Lego pieces.

Another story that moved us was that of little Noah, who despite born with a spina bific and severe hydrocephalus, he has never given up, and thanks to his determination and the unconditional support of his family he has managed to go far.

Great stories starring great heroes who despite their young age, offer us valuable lessons and inspire us to fight for our dreams. Because with willpower and determination there are no excuses!
