The Arizona child defender blames the mother who made this photo that Facebook censored

In May of last year we published the history of Heather Whitten, a woman who is dedicated to photographing births, who had them with Facebook after they censored this photo of her husband and son up to three times.

Now history has taken an unexpected turn, and that is the Department of Child Safety (DCS) has opened a file for women and is trying to get convict her of negligence.

What is the problem with the photo?

The child suffered from salmonellosis, so as symptoms he had vomiting, diarrhea and fever; It was fatal, so parents thought to help lower the temperature a little it would be good to get into the water.

But he was very tired, so the father decided to take a shower with him. Thus, in his lap, he managed to get well for a few hours, before going to the hospital, where he was diagnosed a Salmonella infection.

When she saw them in the shower together, she felt so much tenderness, so much love for the father of her four children, seeing him so patient and caring, that he decided to immortalize the moment.

As a photographer and mother, she decided to share the moment on Facebook and there began her odyssey. The photo was denounced and removed, so she hung it up again. It happened again, and hung up again for the third time, after which a new complaint arrived and again the elimination of the social network. Apparently, they considered it inappropriate to show the nakedness of a child next to the father's.

And the DCS decided to act too

The story went viral and was not only reported on Facebook, but also to local Arizona authorities. The police took note of the complaint and assured that I wouldn't do anything against the family; however, the case came to someone from the Arizona Department of Child Safety, who decided to act.

Now said department is trying to get Heather declared guilty of negligence for having published such a picture of his young son. If the process proceeds, Whitten will be added to the Arizona Central Registry for 25 years, incapacitating her to raise or adopt minors, and even for work with children as a photographer.

For this reason, a collection of signatures has been opened on Change.org in order to give support to this mother that all she did was show the photo of a father taking care of his sick son.
