Going with museum children: a fun plan for everyone

One of the coolest plans we can make with our children one afternoon, for example, is to visit a museum, no matter if it is cold or hot outside, any excuse is good and it is something that we may practice too little.

We bother more to go to museums when we travel, when we are out of our city but Surely we have great museums near us and even what to discover.

Today we leave museums inside and out, very good to see and enjoy with our children. Because yes, we believe that going to museums with our children can be a very fun plan for everyone and you?

We have talked a lot on previous occasions about museums and the attitude on our part so that our children enjoy them, so that they empower and let their imagination flow, their creativity, to get them to be fond of enjoying art, something that in the Future may help you to be something happier, no doubt.

But what we do have to keep in mind is that yes, it is true that visiting a museum with a child is different, very different from doing it without them. The idea is that they enjoy and want to return. We must adapt to their maturity, we must measure well the time that we will use in the visit and what we are going to see or do in the museum so that we all enjoy, that in the end that was our initial plan.

An interesting asset is the museum itself, some are appetizing even before entering and touring its rooms and we can start talking to the children about him, his history, his past, his relationship with the city he is in and with other similar museums or even his creator like the Gugenheim Museum for example or the Pompidou Center. They are museums that are already magical from the outside and it is very worth visiting them with our children.

They leave the skin

It is evident that who is most interested in visiting us is the museum itself for numerous reasons, the most important: its own survival, obviously. As it is evident that for children it is very interesting that we get used to attending these activities, it makes them value not only what they see but how they see it and with whom they see it. They enjoy it yes, but you have to teach them how to do it, you have to open that door and teach them how to cross it. You have to go with them, obviously, you have to organize the visit and design it to be a success.

For all this and for your own interest, as we said, there are many museums that have already taken care of organizing activities for children, some are only for children, others are for families and adults and children enjoy a different visit and a very interesting tour. He Prado MuseumIn addition to being one of the most important art galleries in the world, it is undoubtedly one of these museums that has decided to encourage family visits with a program called “The Family Meadow” that leaves no doubt.

They organize in this museum a visit different from the usual one that has as a common thread an idea different from the conventional visit that we could do on our own (like some character from a children's story or for example the sea) that does not bore, which is not only didactic but that does not stop being it and that above all makes the little ones are delighted to discover in the painting not only the author (who also) but also an era, a history, a context and a world of possibilities that he only knows and limits your own imagination

The future is now

It is evident that the museums are adapting to the new times and they are getting closer to social networks, there we can find information about temporary exhibitions, we can even interact with them, we can comment on what we liked or did not like about our visit and many of them have equipment and staff to pamper the visitor through these comments, respond, inform and even try to solve some small incidents that may have arisen.

The interaction may not be immediate, the museum may not respond to your message at the same time but there are many that do so in a relatively short period of time and the impact on users is very positive and for the museum's own image too It is, obviously.

In addition, the websites of many museums are working more and better (in general terms), some have even the possibility of making virtual visits to the building from the page itself that makes it even more palatable and used to put honey in lips with what we will find when we move there, as happens for example with the magnificent interactive visit that can be done through the website of the Sorolla Museum through the house and the painter's workshop, from our home computer, for example. A way to create even more interest before going to tour the museum with our children.

It is already common to download the audio guides in the mobile to make the visit in a comfortable way and with interesting information, such as using QR codes in some facilities to know more data of a particular work.

Lately, work has been done on the possibility of implementing augmented reality in some museums and for many the time to carry it out and show it to the audience is approaching.

The possibilities are enormous and some museums have already realized how much they earn by doing something different from what they did so far.
