A father changed his comfortable life for days full of adventure with his terminally ill daughter

John Silk is a man who apparently had everything, a successful career and a comfortable life, except time to spend with Vicky, his daughter with Down Syndrome and terminally ill.

One day he decided to make the best decision of his life: leave his career and change his Porsche for the school bus so he can see his daughter every day. Too He decided to dedicate all his money to live days full of adventure with her, make the most of the time they have left together. So far they visited 15 countries, swam with dolphins, dived, flew over a volcano and visited Disneyland, among other fantastic adventures.

His salary was reduced by 90 percent, but he says he can't be happier with the decision he has made. They live to the fullest and enjoy every moment they spend together. "I wanted to show Vicky the world," says his father.

Vicky was diagnosed at birth with Down Syndrome and Eisenmenger Syndrome, a congenital heart disease that affects heart and lung function. They gave him a life expectancy of 15 years, but now he is 22, he has already surpassed it in seven years, days and years fully enjoyed. Every penny they save goes to live together unforgettable experiences.
