Educreations launches version 2.0 of its application and continues to work to improve education

More than two years ago we talked in Peques and More of Educreations, an application developed by Wade roberts Y Chris Streeter which was intended to improve the educational process so that no child was the last. After more than two years of development, the application is already used by 400,000 teachers in more than 50,000 schools They work to make it easier for students to study and organize their learning time. As Wade explains in the press release presentation of version 2.0, they are very happy for the great work teachers do with Educreations.

The application is still free although they are already making the development profitable with paid versions that ensures that students, teachers and schools can take advantage of it at a reasonable cost because it has prices from 2.5 dollars per student (I do not know the rate in euros) and year. Educreations can be maintained for free because it is a huge laboratory in which students and teachers experience and improve the application that can then be profitable with a sustainable pricing policy and certainly do not want to include advertising or sell their data to third parties.

The free version allows, for example, to save a draft of the work in progress, store the best works, access 50MB of storage space, the equivalent of 90 minutes of recorded classes or keep the viewing history updated and accessible. Special payment conditions are offered for payment programs. they negotiate between the school and Educreations. Although the application is mainly for teachers, the negotiation is carried out by the school with the company. The paid version includes the export of videos, advanced options for the board, import documents, maps and more content, unlimited storage of drafts and up to 5GB per user of the application.

I remember that Educreations is designed for teachers to take their knowledge and experiences for a walk and share them with their students on the Internet, although it can also be a good showcase to share with other colleagues. And all this through one application that is installed on the iPad and that it has the interface as light as the one that can be seen below. You can almost say that it is a kind of CreApp Tales in which you can take advantage of the tool creativity to spread the knowledge of teachers. And no, this It has nothing to do with digitizing textbooks on paper, this boosts the teacher's ability to transmit knowledge and encourages the student to participate very actively of the educational process.
