At home we are dedicating part of the summer to listening to different types of music with the children: we have taken them to some band concerts, we have developed handmade instruments, and we allow them to select the pieces they prefer from among all the styles we have recorded in the MP4
The big one is already 'small' with children's music and is dedicated to exploring their preferences and discovering the message of different songs, the girl listens and then composes her own music. We fathers have put some interest in learning to differentiate the sound of instruments, and looking for information I ran into Minimúsica one day.
What is 'minimúsica'? It is mostly a project materialized in different concert cycles and a leisure space on the Internet, but above all in a fun way to learn music. The educational project behind the proposal is directed by teacher Núria Muntaner, and backed by specialized collaborators. All of them they intend to generate artistic-musical interest in children in a free way.
Minimúsica began its activity in 2006 as a concert cycle, with the aim of offering something different to the children's audience. Since that time, it has positioned itself as a pioneer proposal when it comes to offering musical content to the children of a whole new generation of parents, taking place in numerous stages of Catalonia
Today they are already a consolidated brand and reference in the sector, which has expanded its palette of activities, and which stably rely on festivals such as San Miguel Primavera Sound or the Jardins de Cap Roig Festival, in which minimúsica offers a comprehensive playroom service.
In spring 2010 the first album of the mini music collection was released: titles such as 'Els Aliments' or 'Transport' are composed, recorded and edited so that children can appreciate the instrumental differences and understand the message of the songs well. And the music is completed with a merchandising line formed by t-shirts made with quality materials and printed with the characters of the first mini music album.

More than 70 national and international artists have passed through minimúsica, and among the clients or collaborators of this project are 'La festa dels Supers (from TV3)', 'Barcelona Acció Musical', Caja Madrid or the House of Culture of the Town Hall of Sant Cugat
