Campaign "Children on the Net: a children's game?"

The National Institute of Communication Technologies (Inteco) and Panda Antivirus have launched the "Children on the Net" campaign, with the purpose of promoting the responsible use of the Internet among the youngest.

The project is interesting, as it aims to provide information and solutions to the risks and threats faced by minors in the network, and is aimed at parents, educators and the children themselves.

On their website they have a guide of security tools for homes that details information on available resources, such as antivirus, firewall or antispyware.

The data indicates that sites like this and others that we have talked about on our pages are necessary, since the vast majority of Internet users do not know how to correctly place an antivirus. Almost half of adults do not use any security filter on their computer and at the same time many parents worry about the use that their children, increasingly smaller, make of the Internet.

That is why it is essential, as we have pointed out on numerous occasions, a start in the Network always accompanying them, educating them in their good use. External tools will make solo navigation, when they grow, safer.
