Depending on the contracted service, the ultrasound lasts between thirty and sixty minutes and obviously, since the mother is at home, she may be accompanied by anyone she deems appropriate. The recommended time to perform this type of ultrasound is between weeks 23 and 34, which is when factors such as the amount of amniotic fluid, the size of the baby, the available space or its placement make it easier to get good pictures of the baby.
